TMX Transform is delighted to announce the appointment of respected logistics and supply chain expert Craig Albiston to the newly created role of Executive Director – Supply Chain, Australia and New Zealand.

Mr Albiston joins TMX Transform from Deloitte where he was Principal and senior leader in their Supply Chain & Procurement practice, including National Logistics & Distribution lead.

He previously spent more than 20 years in both management consulting and industry, focused on supply chain management, fleet management and innovation.

Mr Albiston has advised clients across a cross section of supply chain-intensive industries, supporting a broad range of transformations. This included many of Australia’s leading retailers, Telstra (post-merger integration of VITA Group), the Victorian Government (transitioning to 100% zero emissions vehicles), and the Australian Navy (logistics reform and supply chain innovation program).

He joined TMX Transform’s 11 strong executive management team, reporting to Managing Director ANZ Adam McDonald.

TMX Transform’s supply-chain division has grown six-fold from 38 advisers three years ago to more than 180 today, in response to surging client demand for its expertise.

“Craig offers deep subject matter expertise in business and corporate strategy, supply chain management, IT strategy, fleet and asset management, mergers and acquisitions, innovation and new venture creation,” Mr McDonald said.

“After three years of COVID-induced supply-chain disruptions, Craig will help advise clients on what supply chain challenges are likely ahead, and how to overcome them.”

TMX Transform is an adviser to some of the world’s largest companies, including Wesfarmers, Coles, Coca-Cola Japan, Asahi and Singapore Post.

Mr Albiston said he was impressed by TMX Transform’s unmatched depth and breadth of supply chain expertise, its broad range of industry-leading clients, and the trust relationships that have been developed with them.

“TMX Transform is a fast-growing advisory business with passion and focus on the supply chain,” he said.

“I’m looking forward to being able to support clients throughout the process, from supply chain-enabled strategy through to implementation and transformation, and to leading and growing a dedicated team of 60 consultants and supply chain practitioners across Australia and New Zealand.”

Mr Albiston has experience across:

  • Retail (hardware, general merchandise, grocery)
  • Consumer (food & beverage, wholesale distribution, automotive and telco)
  • Industrial Products & Construction (manufacturing, distribution, property development)
  • Transport & Logistics (3PL, warehousing, transport, freight forwarding)
  • Energy & Resources (oil & gas, mining, utilities)
  • Government & Public Sector (health care, defence, government, procurement)

He holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School, an Honours Degree in Engineering from the University of Auckland and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

He has also completed an Executive Program in Logistics Management from the Fisher School of Business at Ohio State University.
