TMX Transform has announced that Device Technologies’ new 17,000 sqm distribution centre in the north-west Sydney suburb of Marsden Park is close to being completed.
Developed by Sydney Business Park and custom built by Prime Constructions, TMX says the facility is targeting a five-star Green Star rating and has a 300kw solar array plus three temperature-controlled chambers.
TMX says the site will be the largest medical hub for Device Technologies’ operations, warehousing and logistics operations that operate throughout Australasia.
This state-of-the-art distribution facility serves as the cornerstone for optimising our operational efficiency and elevating customer service standards for hospital and healthcare professionals.
As well as warehousing, this facility will cater to our reverse logistics and technical services needs, ensuring a seamless transition. Positioned as the central hub, it will orchestrate the warehousing and logistics operations for Device Technologies.
Throughout the process TMX Transform provided the end-to-end supply chain advisory, property procurement and project management services.
"It’s our privilege to assist Device Technologies as it transitions into its new custom-built distribution facility," Matt Logan, TMX Senior Project Manager, said.
Being involved with the project end-to-end, across supply chain, property and project services meant we could optimise our assistance to Device Technologies, including tenant representation and racking superintendent supply and install.
TMX says that while the business park is filling up quickly with distribution centre tenants such as Hitachi, Garmin and Australian Pharmaceutical Industries (API), there is still site vacancies being advertised.
